(Carrollton, Ga. April 20, 2016) Central High School Girls Golf Team took home the Region Champion trophy after yesterday’s competition at Cherokee Country Club in Cedartown. Ainsley Cowart was the tournament low medalist with a score of 81. The Lion’s score of 269 allowed the team to skip sectional qualifying and advance straight to the State Tournament scheduled for May 16 in Augusta. The Central Lion’s Golf Teams are coached by Head Coach Mr. Don Riggins and Assistant Coach Mr. Brian Kranz.
