As we look around our regional area for new restaurant and retail happenings, one can’t help but notice the influx of exciting options coming. Below is a list of some activity in the region. 

Cedartown, Georgia
Kizuna Japanese and a Wing N Burger Factory are opening next to Walmart.
Popeye’s is coming to 302 Main Street, which was previously a Wendy’s restaurant.

Douglasville, Georgia
Burger King is coming to 5700 Fairburn Road. Click here to read more. 

Griffin, Georgia
IHOP at Moran Drive near Walmart is now open.
Krystal restaurant at 526 West Taylor Street is undergoing renovations. 

LaGrange, Georgia  
Popeye’s is coming to 1511 LaFayette Parkway, formerly a Texaco.

Peachtree City, Georgia
Bath & Body Works is undergoing renovations at the Avenue.
Chipotle and Starbucks Combo is under construction at the former Rite Aid at the Avenue.
Gateway Bridge is being installed as an entry into Peachtree City near McDuff Parkway. Click here to read more.
Panera Bread is opening a location at Highway 74 and Rockaway Road.

Senoia, Georgia
Aldrich Home opened at 10 Village West Drive in a new shopping center.
Wings and Things is also opening soon at 10 Village West Drive in the same center.

Anniston and Oxford, Alabama
Chicken Salad Chick opened on June 19 at 501 Oxford Exchange Boulevard.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries is planned to open in the early part of 2020 at Oxford Exchange Boulevard. 

Auburn, Alabama
Insomnia Cookies is under construction at 181 North College Street. 

Opelika, Alabama
Another Broken Egg opened at 2311 Bent Creek Drive Suite 200.
Eleanor’s opened on Rocket Avenue.
