Updates Coming to Villa Rica Chick-fil-A

Bren Williamson

The community of Villa Rica will soon be able to ‘EAT MOR CHIKIN’ as parking and drive-through updates are fast approaching the city’s Chick-fil-A. In a bid to alleviate traffic and parking pressure, the Commerce Drive Chick-fil-A negotiated a deal with the landowner for land that will allow additional parking, drive-through window expansion and rerouting of the drive-through.

Justin Day, owner and operator, says “[We] will be adding parking, drive-through will be rerouted to allow for dining guests to get in and out of parking spaces without having to ‘basically fight’ with the drive-through guests,” he says with a laugh.

Guests will no longer have to wait for the drive-through line to get to parking, “[s]o, this is going to alleviate parking pressure, entrance and egress pressures.…”

“This is something that we’ve been trying to get accomplished for several years now, and it’s all about being able to better serve our guests,” says Justin.

Currently, the Chick-fil-A has a double lane that merges into a single, but the renovations will turn the merged lane into a true double lane that is expected to double serving capacity. Justin says “It’s just going to add additional capacity for us to serve our guests.”

One lane will be a dedicated mobile-through lane. This allows customers to order through the app, scan the QR code in the lane, and pull up to the window.

Justin adds,“My team does an amazing job…they work hard at what they do, and this is just gonna make it easier for our guests, easier for our team.”

Exact dates have not been confirmed but keep in the know on FacebookInstagram – order from the mobile app! They are located at 85 Commerce Drive Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
