Have you considered a career in healthcare? The University of West Georgia offers a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program in Carrollton and Newnan! Celebrating over 11 years of program excellence, UWG Continue West has celebrated over 1,200 graduates of our reputable CNA Program.
The UWG CNA Program is approved by the Georgia Department of Community Health (GDCH) and meets standards outlined in the “Policies and Procedures for Nurse Aide Training Program” (NATP).
The program is a total of 88 hours consisting of 64 hours classroom/skills lab instruction, and 24 hours of clinical practice in a long-term care facility. Upon completion of the course, students will be certified to register with Credentia CNA365 System to take the State Certification test.
The program provides a comprehensive course to train candidates to work in all health care facilities (e.g. nursing homes, hospitals, hospice, home health, etc.). Our expert instructors provide students with a strong, educational foundation and guidance that will give you confidence to enter the medical field and deliver quality patient care.
