The Coweta Grand Prix 2024, presented by Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America, concluded its second annual event with resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of volunteers, mentors, sponsors, participants, and committee members. A special thank you to our esteemed judges Cal Cross, Gerald Kemp, and Lynn Smith, who generously lent their expertise to the event.
With an impressive turnout of 19 youth/pee wee division teams and 35 adult participants forming 7 adult teams, the competition was fierce, showcasing the talent and determination of participants from various age groups.
The winners of the Coweta Grand Prix 2024 are as follows:
Adult Division:
- People’s Choice: Team Southeastern Site Development
- 1st Place: TSLOTS by Team Bonnell Aluminum
- 2nd Place: Bertacus, driven by Scott Berta
Youth Division:
- Winner: CEC High School Engineering Program, scholarship by KRB Communications
Pee Wee Division:
- Winner: Zoe, a 10-year-old from Boys & Girls Club, mentored by Anne Meeke, Jacob Crace, Sydney Overton & Garnett Jamison, scholarship provided by KRB Communications.
