Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Marks Grand Opening of Moonie Mart in Buchanan, GA

The Greater Haralson Chamber joined Moonie Mart in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its new location at 4687 GA Hwy 120 in Buchanan, Ga. Held on Nov. 21, the event marked a milestone for the business and its commitment to providing locally sourced goods and groceries to the community. 

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by a special celebration featuring complimentary tastings from Moonie Mart’s curated selection of Georgia-grown groceries. The event showcased the store’s commitment to offering high-quality, locally sourced products and fostering a sense of community. Moonie Mart is known for its diverse offerings, including coffee, ice cream and unique items such as locally-made sausages, pickles, crackers and more.

Moonie Mart is not just a place to shop; it’s a gathering spot for the community. The store hosts “Sample Saturdays” every week from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., allowing customers to taste a variety of local products for free. Families can enjoy $1.99 soft serve cones every Monday for children under 12, and the store offers a Build Your Own Charcuterie experience daily. Additionally, this week, they are launching new items on the menu, including nachos and walking tacos.

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Moonie Mart provides a great opportunity for customers to explore a wide range of local favorites and connect with the community.
