Good news for residents of Griffin and Spalding County, and maybe even Pike and East Coweta too. There’s no need to head to Henry County anymore for your Five Below or Ulta Beauty fix. Both retailers are officially coming to North Griffin Square, bringing some exciting additions to the local shopping scene.
Five Below will take over the space at 1649 North Expressway, which previously housed the Christian Women’s Center Thrift Store. That store relocated in early November to the former Big Lots space within the same shopping center, opening the door for the new buildouts to begin.

Five Below is known for its fun, colorful shopping experience and wide variety of affordable finds. From tech gadgets and room decor to toys, snacks, and seasonal items, the store offers a little bit of everything at budget-friendly prices.
Ulta Beauty is also joining the lineup. The national beauty chain offers a full range of cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrances, along with in-store salon services. Ulta carries both high-end and drugstore brands, including MAC, Tarte, The Ordinary, and its own private label. Its mix of products and rewards program have made it a favorite for beauty fans of all kinds.
This new location in Griffin is part of a broader expansion, with Five Below also planning another store in LaGrange on Commerce Avenue.
While no official opening dates have been shared, leasing representatives at Halpern, who manage North Griffin Square, have confirmed that both retailers have signed leases. Construction timelines are still being finalized, but things are moving in the right direction.
More updates will come as the project progresses. For now, the center is shaping up to be a more convenient destination for residents across Griffin, Spalding County, and beyond.
