Advance Auto Parts has officially signed a lease for space 216-C at Shenandoah Plaza in Newnan. The new location will move into the former Big Lots space, right next to Planet Fitness off Bullsboro Drive.
This is a major space for the auto parts chain, and it looks like things are already in motion. We’ve seen shelving being moved out and the floors getting cleaned inside the old Big Lots. That space has been empty for a while, so it’s good to see some activity there again.
No word yet on whether this move means Advance Auto Parts will be consolidating any of their other Newnan stores into this one. For now, this just looks like a big addition for the company in a high-traffic area.
As we reported a few months back, Waffle House is still eyeing a spot next to Taco Bell in the same center. No new updates on construction for that project yet.
