In what organizers are billing as the perfect Valentine’s date, the Carroll Symphony Orchestra will present a concert of masterworks – including Dvořák’s New World Symphony – February 6 at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center.
“Dvořák’s New World Symphony is one of his most familiar and enduring works,” said the CSO’s conductor, Terry Lowry. “It anchors a program meant for our whole community.”
In addition to the Dvořák work, the concert will also include Lowry’s Symphony no. 3 and the winning compositions from the 2025 CSO Young Composer Competition.
Tickets for the performance are $20 for adults, $10 for youth and are on sale at the Carrollton Center for the Arts’ box office or online at carrolltonarts.com.
