Several major additions are still in the works at Ashley Park in Newnan. The first addition we broke a few months ago was Ann Taylor Loft. Ann Taylor Loft will be located at 370 Newnan Crossing Bypass in Suite #398. Hopefully the store will be open by June. Also still in the works for Ashley Park is Crazy 8. Crazy 8 is a clothing company that was started in August of 2007 by Gymboree and features less expensive clothing for kids. It is Gymboree’s direct competitor for The Children’s Place and Old Navy. Crazy 8 will be located in suite #358A. Construction is expected to start very soon. The completion date would be sometime around back to school shopping.
More additions to Ashley Park include Lizard Thicket’s new expansion from 2,000 sq ft to 3,500 sq ft. An art studio called Bubbles and Brushes is expected to open soon along with Wildflower Leather. Wildflower Leather will be located next to Bath and Body Works. A few years ago there were talks about a Cheeseburger Paradise being located directly behind Barnes and Noble. That has since fallen through. Currently this piece of land is now hosting construction for Jared’s Gallery of Jewelers. Their scheduled opening date will be sometime around Christmas.
