Franklin, GA has a brand new restaurant on the Square. Federico Gimenez, the owner of Loco Mex on The River along with other popular restaurants in Carrollton acquired the former Loco Rio space in Franklin. Before Loco Rio the famous Captain Billy’s held this location. In 2012 Captain Billy’s closed. Federico has added his unique touch to the restaurant and has really created a very welcoming environment. The menu and food is the same that you would find at the other Loco Mex restaurants but this one has a beautiful river flowing below it. Stop by sometime real soon and enjoy eating while overlooking the Chattachooce River!
