Walk of Faith ReStored Resale Boutique in Newnan will be celebrating the completion of their current community work this autumn. Since 2019, the resale boutique has served Newnan’s westside in providing quality furniture and clothes. However, owner Kim Maniaci shares in a recent FB post that despite the negative connotations of closing up shop, she thanks God for the opportunities she and her staff experienced in building relationships within the city.
“We are grateful for our time that we had the joy and honor of meeting so many of you,” she writes. “[But] just because our doors will be closed, doesn’t mean our friendship will end.”
The boutique’s patrons express their heartfelt goodbyes in a recent Facebook post. Even visitors who have since moved away from the area share that they have missed the boutique and its staff members.
Maniaci admits that lately she has been recognizing the significance in endings. She quotes Dr. Seuss who penned the phrase, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” Maniaci’s dreams for the boutique to help fund an addiction healing center may have changed, but the boutique was a healing well all on its own.
Maniaci states that she is thankful God provided the opportunity to turn tears into laughter, share stories with patrons who became friends, and the joy she received and poured out over the years.
