Construction appears to be underway on a new Taco Bell in Heflin just off Exit 199 along I-20.
The location of the new Taco Bell will be at 60 Thompkins St, near the McDonald’s, based on job listings and site activity. Earlier reporting from East Alabama Now mentioned the project but did not include an exact address. Since then, hiring postings on sites like Seasoned and Indeed have pointed to this specific location.
The new restaurant will most likely follow the same design and layout as the newer Taco Bell in Carrollton along US 27, which has become a common model for recently built locations.
We reached out to the City of Heflin for confirmation and additional details but did not receive a response.
