Construction Progress Accelerates at Future Crunch Fitness in Newnan Pavilion

Construction continues to make impressive progress at the future Crunch Fitness location in Newnan Pavilion, with the transformation of the former Conn’s HomePlus building becoming more noticeable each week.

Located at 1098 Bullsboro Drive, Suite 15, adjacent to Home Depot, the 34,729-square-foot space has undergone an extensive interior renovation since construction began. Recent progress includes exterior painting, installation of branded window graphics, and continued work throughout the interior, where framing and drywall have reshaped the former retail space into what will soon become a state-of-the-art fitness center. Once complete, the building will feature a refreshed façade and new Crunch Fitness branding, giving the former big-box store an entirely new look.

When the project is complete, the new Crunch Fitness will offer the brand’s signature “No Judgments” philosophy, providing members with a welcoming environment and a wide variety of fitness options. Plans include spacious locker rooms, ADA-accessible restrooms and showers, tanning rooms, turf training areas, dedicated group fitness studios, personal training spaces, and a Relax & Recover zone featuring hydro massage lounges and cryotherapy services.

The renovation has also included extensive infrastructure upgrades, including new HVAC distribution, updated fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and improvements to the building’s electrical and plumbing systems to support the facility’s many amenities. JPlus Architects Inc. designed the project, with CR Fitness Holdings LLC serving as the franchisee.

Crunch Fitness operates more than 400 locations worldwide and is known for combining affordable memberships with premium amenities, high-energy group fitness classes, strength and cardio equipment, and recovery services.

With construction moving along at an impressive pace, the Newnan location is continuing to take shape and is one step closer to opening its doors. The City Menus will continue to follow the project and provide updates as an official opening date is announced.
