A new fitness option is on the way to Quintard Mall in Oxford, Alabama, as Crunch Fitness prepares to open inside the shopping center.
The gym is expected to open in about four months and will occupy a large space that previously housed several longtime mall tenants, including Goody’s, GNC, Hallmark, and Scrub Shop. The addition marks another new chapter for Quintard Mall as the property continues to bring in fresh activity and services for the Oxford and Anniston area.
Work is already underway inside the space, transforming the former retail area into what will soon become Crunch Fitness Oxford. The company has shared that progress is being made daily as crews move the project from an empty shell toward a fully built-out gym.
Crunch Fitness is known for offering a wide range of workout options, including strength training equipment, cardio machines, group fitness classes, and personal training services. While details on the full Oxford location have not yet been released, the opening is expected to give local residents another place to work out, train, and stay active close to home.
The new gym will also bring renewed foot traffic to Quintard Mall, which has seen changes over the years as traditional retail spaces have shifted toward restaurants, entertainment, fitness, and service-based businesses.
For shoppers and residents who remember the previous stores in that section of the mall, the arrival of Crunch Fitness represents a major transformation of a familiar space.
Crunch Fitness Oxford is currently promoting founding membership opportunities ahead of its opening. More details are expected to be announced as construction continues and the opening date gets closer.
