A new wellness and nutrition bar is getting ready to open its doors in downtown Griffin.
The Local in Downtown Griffin will hold a soft opening on Wednesday, August 19, at 130 South Hill Street. Their tagline says it best: “Grab a drink. Boost your day. Love your life. That’s the Local Way!”
The menu includes loaded teas, smoothies, protein coffees, basic and premium shakes, kids teas and wellness shots. A few of the fun drink choices include the Watermelon Local, Tropical Sunny, Orange Cream Skittles and Green Apple Cancun loaded teas, along with strawberry, mango and mixed berry smoothies.
Coffee lovers can choose from protein coffee options like Blonde Cold Brew and Caramel Dreams, while shake flavors include Cake Batter, Peanut Butter Waffle, Cookie Butter and Strawberry Cheesecake.
The Local will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
