Jos A. Bank is preparing to welcome customers back to Peachtree City, with its new location at Kedron Village Shopping Center expected to open by the end of this week.
The longtime menswear retailer, which previously operated at The Avenue Peachtree City, is putting the finishing touches on its new storefront in Suite 1223, occupying the former Verizon Wireless space near Target, Ross, and Kirkland’s.
A recent visit to the shopping center showed that the buildout is nearly complete, with large Jos A. Bank “Opening Soon” window graphics already installed and equipment still on-site as crews wrap up the final details.
Verizon Wireless, which previously occupied the space, has relocated a few doors down closer to Target.
The move comes after Jos A. Bank closed its longtime location at The Avenue earlier this year. The store had been a familiar destination for local shoppers seeking suits, dress shirts, business attire, and formalwear for weddings and special occasions.
As previously reported, a team member at Men’s Wearhouse in Newnan confirmed the relocation while the original store was closed. During the transition, Jos A. Bank’s voicemail directed customers to the Men’s Wearhouse location at Ashley Park in Newnan.
The new storefront keeps the retailer in Peachtree City while bringing it to another busy shopping destination on the north side of town.
With construction nearing completion and an opening anticipated by the end of the week, local customers should soon have another convenient option for men’s professional and formal attire.
An exact opening day has not yet been confirmed.
