The Ruby Tuesday location at 1120 Bullsboro Drive in Newnan served its last meal over the weekend. The restaurant permanently closed its doors as of Sunday, according to a manager from a nearby Ruby Tuesday store.
The large restaurant chain has recently struggled over the past year and has been forced to close dozens of locations throughout the country. Ruby Tuesday named a new chief executive officer in January before taking the company private in a $335 million deal.
The nearby location in LaGrange permanently closed its doors in March of this year.
“Unfortunately, the Newnan, Georgia, Ruby Tuesday has been closed,” a Ruby Tuesday spokesperson told The City Menus. “The next closest Ruby Tuesday location would be the one in Carrollton, Georgia. It’s located at 1685 South Highway 27 in Carrollton.”
Ruby Tuesday has abruptly closed dozens of locations across the country in recent months.
