USA Ninja Challenge – Carrollton is getting ready to open its doors, introducing a one-of-a-kind fitness experience designed especially for kids and families in the West Georgia area. The brainchild of local residents Robert and Millie Adams, this new venture is more than just a business—it’s a mission born out of their shared passion for health, family, and community. With two young sons of their own who frequently turn their house into a full-blown obstacle course, the idea for bringing USA Ninja Challenge to Carrollton came naturally.
“We were really looking for something active for our kids to do in town,” says Robert Adams, who graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in business. “They do rec sports—baseball, basketball, football—but we felt like there needed to be another option for physical activity that was fun, structured, and engaging. When we came across USA Ninja Challenge, we knew right away this was it.”
The program is structured around progressive ninja-style training for children up to age 17, with a curriculum that focuses on building agility, balance, grip strength, coordination, and overall fitness. Kids enroll in weekly classes and train through a structured system of 18 skill categories. Every obstacle course is thoughtfully designed and rotates weekly, so students never get bored and are always working toward new goals. A digital leaderboard in the gym lets parents track their child’s progress over time—each skill measured from levels one through six. It’s a consistent and encouraging way for kids to grow in confidence and physical ability, without the pressure of competing against others.
Millie Adams, who grew up in Chatsworth and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health from Kennesaw State University, has spent years working with Tanner Health System’s Get Healthy, Live Well program, spearheading health and wellness initiatives for children and families in the region. She sees USA Ninja Challenge – Carrollton as a natural extension of that work.
“This really is a passion project for me,” Millie explains. “I’ve always believed in helping kids find ways to stay healthy that don’t feel like exercise. With this, kids are learning skills, getting stronger, and building confidence—but they’re having so much fun, they don’t even realize they’re working out. It’s everything I’ve worked toward in community health, just brought to life in a gym setting.”
What makes the program stand out is that it combines structure with fun. Kids are challenged to solve problems, work through obstacles, and find creative ways to succeed. Sometimes it’s as silly as balancing a frisbee under their chin while navigating a rope bridge, but the goal is always the same: to build strength, strategy, and self-esteem. While every child trains at their own pace, there’s a natural sense of camaraderie that builds in each class. “You’ll see the same kids every week,” Robert says, “and they start cheering each other on, celebrating each other’s wins. It’s not just an independent thing. There’s a community here.”
Beyond regular classes, USA Ninja Challenge – Carrollton will also develop a competition team for students who want to take their training to the next level. These teams will be eligible to compete in local, regional, and national events. With ninja-style obstacle racing making its Olympic debut as part of the modern pentathlon in the 2028 Summer Games, it’s an exciting time to get involved—even if it won’t be a standalone event just yet. But even for those who never want to compete, the program serves as either a solid athletic foundation or an engaging alternative to traditional sports.
“Not every kid fits into team sports like soccer or baseball,” Robert says. “But this gives them something that’s theirs. It’s a sport, but it’s also a journey of personal growth. You’re really just competing with yourself—trying to beat your best time, or master the next skill. Every kid can succeed in that environment.”
Opening USA Ninja Challenge – Carrollton in their own hometown was a decision driven by heart. The Adamses have lived in the West Georgia area for the better part of 20 years. They work here, raise their boys here, and believe deeply in what the Carrollton community stands for. Although there was pressure to open in a larger city, they chose to stay rooted.
“We live here. Our kids go to school here. We’re part of this community, and we wanted to bring something valuable to it,” Millie says. “Carrollton deserves more options for kids and families. We knew it would be welcomed, and honestly, the response so far has been incredible.”
The journey to opening has been made easier thanks to strong support from local leadership. The City of Carrollton, they say, has been transparent, helpful, and accessible throughout the entire process—from zoning calls and permitting, to helpful guidance from the fire marshal and city departments. The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce has also played a key role in supporting the business as it gears up for launch.
“We’ve heard horror stories from other franchisees in different states,” Robert says, “but our experience has been nothing but positive. It really speaks to how Carrollton supports its small business community.”
For families in Carrollton and surrounding areas, USA Ninja Challenge – Carrollton offers something truly unique: a high-energy, skill-based program that gives kids a chance to grow—physically, emotionally, and socially. Whether your child is already active or just looking for something new, this is a place where they can challenge themselves, make friends, and have fun—all in a safe, structured environment.
As the opening date approaches, the Adams family is excited to welcome the community into their new space, located at 1561 S Hwy 27, Carrollton, GA 30117—in the old Spectrum location between Walmart and Aldi, next to Little Donkey and Rethread.

“We just want to say thank you,” Millie says. “Thank you to everyone who’s already shown us support, and to the families we can’t wait to meet. We’re ready to get started and grow something really special together.”
USA Ninja Challenge – Carrollton is more than just a gym—it’s a leap forward for family entertainment and youth fitness in the heart of West Georgia.
