Downtown Carrollton’s biggest annual event, Mayfest Arts and Crafts Festival, returns to Adamson Square, May 2.
For more than four decades, Mayfest has drawn thousands of people to Carrollton’s vibrant downtown the first Saturday in May to browse handmade arts and crafts like woodworking, jewelry, candles and many other handmade items, enjoy food trucks and local eateries and explore unique specialty shops.
The Amp at Adamson Square will host free family friendly activities and entertainment throughout the day, including face painting and the annual Teen Idol competition.

Event organizers are no longer accepting applications for 2026 Mayfest. Applications for Mayfest 2027 will be accepted beginning in January of next year.
