This week, Dallas’ signature Tin Bucket Mercantile will be celebrating a milestone anniversary with a major sale, eats, and giveaways. Join them Saturday, June 10th from 11:00 A. M. to 6:00 P. M. at 222 Main Street in Dallas for a unique and classy experience!
Michael Pace and owner Helene Jones have created a unique shop that’ll enchant just about any person and any age. Outfitted with a corner cafe, pool table, and candies kiddos can and will drool for, Tin Bucket is worth exploring.
Recently both created a gorgeous Mother’s Day display with adorable, matching merchandise; but whatever the holiday or season, Tin Bucket’s upstairs showcases a year-round Christmas wonderland visitors from far and wide can get lost in.
Helene Jones speaks plainly that she wanted to have her own store and to “have whatever she wanted in it,” she tells our team. And what Helene wanted was a classic store harkening back to a five-and-dime store — except with a modern spin. Her tasteful displays and carefully curated merchandise selection immerses visitors in a distinctly Southern feel. Sourcing some of her items from Georgia and the southeast, Helene’s attractive products are sure to entice any passerby.
“Since we’ve been here, a lot of changes have happened,” Michael observes. “Despite the changes [in downtown Dallas], we feel like we’re a pioneer here!”
Alongside Boho + Bark, 213 Boutique, and Good Stuff coffee shop, Tin Bucket Mercantile has helped fuel downtown Dallas’ initiative to grow into a pleasantly classy shopping and cultural district. Tin Bucket aims to keep the fire going in years to come.
